Does your firm help with property damage after a car accident?

Our firm’s legal representation is focused on personal injury claims, meaning our primary role is helping clients pursue compensation for injuries they suffered in an accident. However, we understand that vehicle damage is often an immediate and stressful concern after a crash. In many cases, our team may assist with certain aspects of the property damage process to help move things along and reduce some of the burden on our clients.

This assistance may include communicating with the insurance company regarding the property damage portion of the claim, helping coordinate vehicle repairs with a body shop, addressing rental vehicle arrangements while your car is being repaired, and providing guidance if the insurance company determines that the vehicle is a total loss. Our goal in these situations is simply to help facilitate the process and resolve common issues that can arise with vehicle damage after an accident.

That said, property damage matters are generally handled through the applicable insurance policies and are not part of our formal legal representation. Any involvement our firm has with property damage is provided as a courtesy and may vary depending on the circumstances of the case.

Please also note that our firm does not assist with diminished value claims or gap insurance claims. If you have questions about those types of claims, you may need to address them directly with the applicable insurance carrier or another appropriate resource.
